Gentle Days

Reservation-based cat lounge + quiet room

los angeles, once we find the right space

everything here floats

what it is

A small room with cats in it, booked ahead so it never gets crowded. You get a drink, somewhere comfortable to sit, and an hour where nobody needs anything from you.

We're not a café. There's no kitchen and no counter queue. The admission is the thing you're paying for; the drinks are there because you'll want one.

how a visit works

Sessions run about an hour, with a small group. You book a time, we hold it, and the room stays quiet because the number of people in it is a decision rather than an accident.

There's an airlock at the entrance, two doors with a gap between them, so a cat who fancies a walk doesn't get one. House rules are short: no picking anyone up, and if a cat leaves, let them.

the cats

Cat welfare is the part we actually care about. The room is built around it: high shelves to get above people, places to hide that humans can't reach, and a whole area upstairs that's cats only.

No cats yet, and no partner yet. When there is a rescue working with us, their vet and their staff decide who's ready to be on the floor. We'll say who they are once there's something signed, and not before.

the waitlist

Still looking at spaces, so there's no date yet and no address. Leave an email and you'll hear from us when there's something real to say.

One email. No newsletter, nothing weekly.
